this time.. Sakurai visited the Shinjuku 高島屋's "custom made Fragrance" corner.. there are 127 kinds of 'essence' (smells) here where you can mix together to create your very own original perfume/cologne.. with the advice and help of the store keeper.. let's get started!

first Sho kun had to find the type of 'smell' he prefer thus sampling various 'essences'.. however midway sampling it's been too many and he lost sense of what he was smelling.. heh 「たくさん嗅いでるうちに、途中で香りがわからなくなるんだよな ...」in order to refresh his sense of smell faster thus introducing special item "coffee bean".. the smell nicely refreshed him and he was revived (laugh).. in the end he ended up choosing from the 'lavender series'.. there are 3 layers to the final result.. there is the top note that is about 30 minutes long.. then there is the middle note that takes about 2 to 3 hours.. then what is left is the base note.. first.. he had to select for the base.. he chose 'musk' and had 10 ml in a test tube.. it was nostalgic.. like a chemistry experiment (laugh) 「うわ、懷かしい! 理科の実験みたい (笑)」afterwards he had to choose for the middle note.. he had to first smell the base note then visualize the smell.. his first choice was vanilla.. thus tried 5 ml on the practice paper.. a hint of vanilla「ほんのりバニラ ♥」.. he also chose a smell close to 白檀 (sandalwood).. and repeated the appropriated steps w/o trouble.. lastly he selected something from the orange family.. trying rosemary essence on the practice paper.. the results was something similar to the cologne that he normally wears..

the main reason for this particular project was because of Sakurai's "the cologne i've been using has been with me for about 4 years.. (i) feel that it cant be helped but to find a new one" 「いま使っている香水が使い始めて4年くらいだから、新しくしようかなと思って」.. the one that he currently wears is somewhat of a fresh musky type.. but to continue with his choice of the middle note.. for a smell of the sea.. he chose jasmine essence.. it had a good feel.. as a alternative there was also oriental jasmine.. perhaps simply because he likes jasmine tea (laugh) is it that this entire time it was just to fulfill his insatiable needs (!?) in the end.. it was citrus he decided on.. and after serious consideration.. also a bit of mint and green tea essence.. all in all there were about 17 essences all blended into one.. a total of 100 ml.. smelling the final result again he is now certain that the choice to include mint essence was correct.. most definately the smell that he was looking for.. finally to name his very own cologne.. "the issue date of this duet is on 七夕? jya.. 彦星 then!" .. so it was decided.. 『Hikoboshi』's recipe was then handed to the professional to tweak and mature.. it would take about a month for the diploma to be issued..  for September's Arashi tour around Asia.. this item may become one of the key factors to a pumped up atmosphere.. 気分を盛り上げるアイテムのひとつになるかもしれません。

i cant really tell if there is a difference in reference in japanese as to perfume and cologne.. but just for my sake i used the word cologne cause perfume and cologne really are different to me ^_^; haha.. gosh i'm so curious as to what he wears.. RAWR.. want to know want to know want to know.. XDDD want to smell want to smell want to smell.. *giggles*

i skipped writing out the step by step procedures Sho kun talked about just because it's too much of a pain in the butt and i really didnt see the actual point in doing it.. lols sorrrrrry.. it's been a while since i've done a translation.. so it probably is rusty as i am quite rusty.. XD but.. i suppose if you dont mind my half ass japanese as well as my half ass english.. and pretty much love Sho kun no matter what.. i hope this had been enjoyable 8D as most everything is to me when it has to do w/ Arashi and Sho kun ♥

lols.. so after reading the recent Duet w/ Arashi cover.. i went a lookin' through my 'crap' and finally found what i was looking for.. 8D two years ago when i had gone to Tokyo.. i happened upon a bottle of Lipton ice tea w/ one of those cellphone straps.. i eventually finished the drink.. and kept the strap.. though i didnt think of it till now.. it's been perfectly kept in it's plastic wrap waiting for the past 2 years for all i know.. the release of this magazine XDDD hahaha anyhows.. this shows why you should never dismiss any free given toy/strap that comes your way 83

so i went to the magazine store to check if my CUT was in as well as to pick up the new Duet ^^ but to my dismay.. my CUT wasnt in yet.. it's scheduled to come next week.. rawrrrr shall wait patiently =D also went to the store to pick up my One Love NE.. ANDDDD place down my order for the two LEs due August 20.. 8D weeeeee so as my mood gets obviously better.. my wallet gets obviously thinner.. ahhhh such is life lols.

i must say though.. Duet was worth every penny i paid XD but i guess that's just me.. *smirk* cause Arashizm was RAWRRR.. RAWRRRR.. RAWRRRRRRR.. *twirl twirl twirl* anyhows.. as usual.. a peek for the interested heh 8D

downloading magazine scans non-stop.. hahaha

honestly.. this is getting so ridiculous.. if my computer is not on downloading shows that happen 4 times a week.. sometimes twice a day.. then it's on downloading mag scans.. RAWRRR RAWRRR RAWRRRRRR whyareyousohot!!! ah.. and btw.. DUET 2008.08.. Arashi cover.. 8D is quite gorgeous.. mainly because Arashizm is Sho kun this time.. *kyaaaaaa* hahaha..

my brother's friend.. japanese friend.. might be visiting us this weekend.. i am slightly (just slightly) worried.. haha as if she ever decide to grace upon my room.. she might get scared and run away.. XDDD maybe we should just stay in my brother's room and play with pummie.. hahaha

Jun kun: is a very considerate person.. when we were staying in the same room during the tour (仙台) isnt he a person who would go out to sit in the corridor to eat his cup noodle (because) i was sleeping.. オレが寝てるからって、廊下に出てカップラーメンを食べて人ですよ? when you drank too much and dont feel good he's one to give you a backrub (to make you feel better).. the existence like a mother お酒飲んで具合が悪くなったときに背中をさすってくれたり、お母さん的存在です。 feels like being taken care of by a senpai neh (laughs) お世話になってますね、先パイにはね (笑)。

Sho chan: gives people a image that he's always laughing when he is talking neh.. (we) have similar laugh points.. it's been this way since old days.. recently, he has developed a funny character.. it is all because of me.. 最近、おもしろキャラになりつつあるけど、すぺてはボクが原因です。 i apologize deeply to Sho chan's fans.. 翔ちゃんファンには申し訳ないことをしました。 but if anyone wants to complain please just keep it to yourself.. でも、苦情はみなさんの心の中で言ってほしいです。

lols. was just gonna do a little bit because i wanted to do what Nino said about Sho kun XD but ended up doing more apparently.. HAHAH anyhows. it seems to be that a lot of other ppl have done this too just i didnt realize it till the very end X3 oh well HAHAH what is done is done..  it's so cute how Nino says 'it's all because of me' X3 as for the profile.. haha my Aiba chan buddy was just pointing it out that for the bottom half he was literally answering with information from the other members.. haha like Aiba chan is golf.. dazing off is Ochan and mad when hungry being Sho kun.. Sho kun went to a store that specifically sells water =] he says that ever since May he has been actively drinking water to boost his metabolism. 400ml after he wakes up.. 400ml before meals.. stuff like this.. But since going to the store to buy water all the time would be troublesome he’d buy 1 litre or 2 litre bottle waters instead.. =] At the same time he’s been trying to control his intake on caffeine.. drinks such as coffee, green tea, and black tea are no longer his liquid sources.. he pretty much just drinks water and

But the water that is sold in convenient stores are limited.. and Sho kun wanted to have a taste in more kinds of water so then his Manager went and found this store for Sho kun to go try the water XD so then they decided that they would make it a 嵐IZM event and not go in his private time.. however for Sho kun it turn out to be too long a wait anyways.. and it feels like ‘Finally the day has come! After all this anticipation!’ (laugh) ホントにこの日を心待ちにしてきて、やっときた！　って感じ（笑）

Even though he would buy the new waters that come out in the convenient stores but still it would be normal waters or already known mineral waters.. but today as he went into the store there were a lot more and it was hard to tell what is better.. 「たくさんありすぎて、どれがいいのかわかんない…」therefore they asked the shop lady to introduce them to some waters =] After tasting 5 kinds of various waters, Sho kun left with 6 bottles of his favorite water.. lols
